Join us for a special afternoon of music celebrating the 250th anniversary of The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith.

Presented by the Haver Quartet in collaboration with the Kirkcaldy Music Society, this unique concert explores the wealth of the musical world of the Scottish Enlightenment and its lasting influence across cultures and generations. The programme features works by Thomas Erskine, Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven and Pierre Vachon, alongside Scottish songs, the poetry of Robert Burns mirrored with the songs of Rabindranath Tagore, and the minimalist reflections of John Cage on music from 1776.

The concert concludes with the Haver Quartet's own original compositions and arrangements, blending classical, Scottish folk and blues traditions.
