About the event

The tour starts at the Old Kirk where Adam Smith was baptised and takes in at least 14 places associated with his life in Kirkcaldy. This includes the Adam Smith Heritage Centre and garden which was part of the High Street property owned by his mother and where he grew up and latterly wrote and completed his magnum opus: The Wealth of Nations.
